Brickyard Kiln

Archie Bray Foiundation Brickyard

Built of scrapbrick and fired with a load of flower pots


Columnar Kiln

gas fired,m designed to exhibit a wide variation in firing temperature

View inside the top door. The bottom door overfired and the pots melted, the middle was right on, the top was underfired.


Cylindrical Scove

Made of a few hundred bowls and a few hundred pounds of charcoal.
