Stoneware Glaze Tests -Slop Mixes.
Label your tile.
Make sure to record what you mix.
Mix 100ml total.
Stir it well.
Get it to a dipping consistency.
One long dip with and overlapping short dip so that you have three thicknesses.
Make sure that the bottom of the tile is clean.
Put it on the rack.
Cover the slops.

No more than 30 EPK
At least 10 EPK, Alberta or Barnard Slip
No more than 30 dolomite, 40 whiting. No more than 40 total whiting+ dolomite
No more than 30 silica if whiting/dolomite are above 25
Rutle, 10 is a very lot. 1 will show.
Yellow Ochre 25 is max (cut down silica by half this much)
Frit 3124 No more than 5
Manganese Dioxide, no more than 10, do not combine with more than 10 Ochre.
