BismuthCompounds

I have no experience with these and no nothing about their safety except as mentioned. Nothing seems soluble enough to make it useful in this manner.

  • Bismuth Chloride
    • Hydrolizes to neglibably soluble bismuth oxychloride, BiOC?
  • Bismuth oxynitrate aka bismuth subnitrate ,Insoluble
  • Bismuth(III) acetate Bi(CH3COO?)3 hydrolizes to Bi(CH3COO?)3 + H2O?BiOCH3COO? + 2 CH3COOH?
  • Bismuth vanadate BiVO4?. not soluble in water, is used as a yellow paint pigment. Melts at 500C
